Carbon 14 tests date it to the Seventh Century. . . again, a convenient date confirming a date for when it appeared in Spain. However, all other facts known about the Sudarium show it comports to what would be expected from the face cloth mentioned in the Bible, and also it matches stains on the Shroud of Turin.
