being as none of them were Catholics. Neither am I. I am a member of the only true church, the one the helps me navigate

You stated that only true Christians would be in Heaven and I merely pointed out that a lot of people who weren't Christians at all would be in HEAVEN. I knew that Moses wasn't Catholic (would have been has he been born a little later)...but your statement that only Christians would be in Heaven floored me.

Well, let me say this about that. First of all, your definition of "Christian " or "believer" and mine, are probably light years apart, so I can see where we have disagreement. So be it. Old Testament saints, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, were saved by "faith" (oops, there's that word again) exactly the same way New Testament saints are saved. Old Testament saints had "faith" in God, that a savior would come. New Testament saints are saved by "faith" in the savior that has already come. Now, it's possible that your definition of faith and mine, once again, are light years apart. So be it. Old Testament believers and New Testament believers are saved EXACTLY the same way, by "faith" this is what Jesus meant, in my infallible interpretation, 😇 when He said you must be born again. Even Peter, the first Pope (not) said there was no other name given under Heaven. My opinion is, I can see the wheels turning in your head, like these people think they can get saved by faith, and then live like Hell. This has been explained to you and many others about 3,975 times. Let me give a one word answer for the 3,976th time. NO it can't be done. Now, you may or may not agree, or even like the explanation, So be it.

There are, of course, a number of us former, wayward, apostate Catholics, who are comfortable in our skin. Praise God for that. 😎 Get used to it, I am sure it will not change anytime soon. I am not interested in swimming across any rivers today. It's ok with me, whatever you choose to believe. That's on you. Have a nice eternity. See you at the pearly gates, maybe. 😇
