To: Salvation
From the time I was little, I was also taught to bow my head whenever I speak the name of Jesus.

For those who question the bowing during the Creed, it is on commemoration of the Incarnation of Jesus, the Word Made Flesh; God taking on the nature of man. We're not bowing to Mary, although it was through her, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, that Jesus, God, became man. What a grace and a miracle! 💟

Yes. When we read the last Gospel at the conclusion of the Tridentine Mass, we kneel when we read “...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”.
