“I’m a woman.” So said Bruce Jenner, during his coming out appearance this past Friday on a special two-hour edition of the ABC News program “20/20.”
And that’s not the only shocking revelation Jenner confided to interviewer Diane Sawyer. “She” also claimed to be a Republican, a conservative and a Christian.
Well, it’s conceivable that Jenner is a Republican. After all, there’s a LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) group that calls itself the Log Cabin Republicans.
It’s also possible that Jenner is a “conservative.” Indeed, there have been any number of conservative lawmakers – including former Idaho Senator Larry Craig, a homosexual, and former Florida congressman Mark Foley – who were outed as homosexuals.
But there’s no way that Jenner, who is “transitioning” from male to female, is a true Christ follower.
Indeed, in his letter to the Church at Corinth, the Apostle Paul advised: “Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Does that mean any and every one of us who has committed any of those aforementioned sins is unsaved; that we have condemned ourselves to “the second death,” as John of Patmos put it, when we appear before the judgment seat of Christ?
No.
Because, the Scripture assures us: “If we confess our sins, He is just and faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”
Conversely, “If we say that we have no sin,” as Jenner, the transgender in the making maintains, “we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
So it matters not if Jenner attends church every Sunday; if he tithes what earns for his upcoming reality show; if he reads his Bible every day; if he prays first thing each morning, and last thing every night.
If he unrepentantly undergoes a sex change, if he refuses to acknowledge that doing so is an abomination in the eyes of God, he will be in open rebellion against his Creator.
That’s why Christ warned us, everyone: “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”
What that says is that we are not to surrender ourselves to sin; to deceive ourselves that God will forgive us for our unconfessed, unrepented adultery or financial wrongdoing or substance abuse or acts of violence or twisted sexual orientation.
If Jenner truly was a Christian, he would not blithely embrace transgenderism. No, he would fall on his knees and ask the Lord to free him from Satan’s grip. For greater is He who is in Bruce Jenner – who is in all of us struggling with sin – than he who is in the world.
1Co 6:9-12
(9) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

It isn’t just that he is doing stuff to his body. He is trying to be a woman, and to get others to go along with his pretense. What he is doing is NOT just a tattoo, or pierced ears. If he wants to be a woman attracted to women, then he wants to change himself into a lesbian. In what sense is that acceptable to God?

Since, in reality, he never was, and never could be a "mother", and since he will always be a "father", does he see himself as a woman who is a father, or as a former man who is now going to be a mother?

That is not necessarily evidence of Bruce Jenner’s natural gender. “Quite a bit of evidence is available” which demonstrates naturally intersexed athletes have competed in the professional sports and the Olympics in the past. Unless you have copies of medical tests reporting on Bruce Jenner’s chromosomal medical history, you have no means of knowing what the actual medical history really is or is not. Even if you did have that medical history, there are still subtle genetic differences which enable and disable certain gender and sexual characteristics in a human being which remain to be discovered or more accurately defined and understood.

If he was “man” enough to have multiple kids with multiple wives, you can forget convincing me he was a female all along.
Devout new world order servants know things that us “little people” just can’t grasp.

Easy to identify the cows from the bulls and when we castrated the calves, separating the herd, we all well knew which ones would and wouldn’t make milk.
No other society in the past 5000 years seems to ever had had these problems. Maybe those so confused, need to get back to basics.

Your comments just go to show how ignorant you can be growing up on a ranch without ever learning and recognizing a Freemartin; i.e. a somewhat intersexed and infertile female twin cow in ranching terminology. We encountered them in our farming, so you seem to have led a very sheltered and ignorant life on your ranch.

Recognizing the existence of reality is not necessarily having “transgenderism championed on FreeRepublic!” at all. You cannot honestly go about accusing people of being a witch and burning them at the stake in the metaphorical sense just because you want to believe in the fantasy that a person is a witch despite evidence to the contrary. Likewise, in the real world human beings are born with amazing and often bizarre differences in their gender and sexual characteristics determined by their chromosomes, hormones, and other medical factors. Denial of these medical and biological realities is dishonest and unChristian.

Perhaps real world facts are not enough to convince you of anything, which is then your problem and your sin of denial. Nevertheless, there are human beings who are born as apparent females with female genitalia who later are naturally transformed from females into males with male genitalia at puberty, and father multiple children. Such medical cases are only one of numerous ways currently known in which chromosomal, somatic, hormonal, and other factors can produce confusing combinations of gender and sexual characteristics in humans.
Before you set yourself up with the superior than thou attitude you ought to try putting yourself into the circumstances of one of the affected Batista children and tell us how you would regard your own gender, sexuality, and relationship with the Christian church under such a situation as they find themselves in.

That is true as far as it goes, but you are trying to avoid dealing with the reality that human beings don’t all come in neat little binary sexual configurations at birth. Such ideas are contrary to reality and a destructive mythology. The people who are born with these differences in gender and sexual characteristics have to make choices under conditions you are unlikely to ever confront in your own life. If you think differently, then have the courage to imagine yourself in the position of one of the affected Batista children referenced elsewhere in this thread, and then tell us how you would choose to present yourself to the world and to your Christina church. Would you see yourself as a Lesbian woman, a gay or homosexual man, or what and when in your life?

We’ve already covered that claim. You cannot know Bruce Jenner is or is not a woman without seeing the medical tests showing the chromosomal and other test results.
