Is that your opinion or the teaching of the Roman Catholic Catechism?
It’s my understanding of the Quran, and how it compares with Christian apologetics.
Principally, it falls apart at Jesus. Jesus isn’t The Word in the Quran. The Triune God != Allah. The function returns ‘False’. There are many other places it fails, but that’s the easiest point of departure.
Jesus, in the Quran, isn’t the son of Allah, for example.
It’s just way, way different. Even the most liberal protestant faiths will admit to you they have no idea who the mohammedans are praying to, but they are pretty sure it isn’t God, and they are less sure about saying anything definitive about it.
Generally, when asked, they’ll reply, “Whoa! Let’s not lose our heads over matters such as this!”
