I wasnt aware of that particular slant of the god-makers... ;-) That's why I spend SO much time here: to make others AWARE of things that Mormonism tends to try to keep suppressed.

Or is this PR stunt to sound orthodox?
Office of First President & Living Prophet November 1st, 2011
The message for this month is -
...to stay on our mantra: We ARE Christians!!
We've been taking a beating on the Internet - especially from those hateful ANTIs on FreeRepublic!
We MUST keep the media constantly informed of those things the world considers christian.
We must NOT allow our MORMONness to show thru, as it has gotten a really bad rap thru history - lord only knows why...

Mormonism is not Christianity. FYI -->
Christian churches teach belief in God as an eternal, self-existent, immortal being, unfettered by corporeal limitations and unchanging in both character and nature. In recent years, several Christian denominations have made studies of Mormon teaching and come to the conclusion that there are irreconcilable differences between LDS doctrine and Christian beliefs based on the Bible.
Some Mormons undoubtedly become Christians, and evidently leave the Mormon sect they were members of behind.

Scripture clearly shows us that the child that Mary conceived and brought into the world was God. This alone makes Mary the mother of God. No it doesn't...And that elevates Mary way, way, way, above that which was written about...
Not that she had any other role in the ministry of Jesus, just providing the body for Jesus to grow in and be born from...
Yah, right...Because of that false claim that Mary is God's mother your religion has churches named after her, altars and statues made of her and you worship her by praying to her...You have elevated the mother of Jesus above God...
God's purpose was to take on the form of a human to learn and understand the temptations we go thru and to overcome those temptations...To draw people to him and become the Jewish Messiah...
Never was it intended that attention would be given to and magnified in the woman who carried him around for 9 months as your religion has done...
Mary had nothing to do with the 'divine' arriving in her body...It was placed there by God...It was placed there by God and put into a human fetus/Jesus...
Just as with us, the physical body of Jesus was just a shell for Jesus to live in...
The 'Mary' that Catholics bow down to is foreign to the scriptures...That is not the mother of Jesus portrayed in the bible...It is some other female entity that sits on a throne above God...

James Talmage said: "A self-suggesting interpretation of history indicates that there has been a great departure from the way of salvation as laid down by the Savior, a universal apostasy from the Church of Christ". (A Study of the Articles of Faith, p.182).
Very good analogy Elsie, I'm impressed.
Have you ever read "Jesus The Christ" by Talmage? You can
get it for free here!

1 Timothy 3:2-3 2. Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3. not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.

Could; but very unlikely.
Now that's definitive thinking right there!! And convenient too!
Could; but very unlikely that Brigham Young had a steno machine. How's that?

There was not a peer review.
Be sure to remind Christ of that fact at your judgement.
[Elsie] But Lord, Lord, it wasn't peer reviewed!
When it WAS put to the test; it failed.
An anti-Mormon claiming the Book of Mormon failed.
I'm so shocked...

Why would I want it?
Mormons don't want it.
It's not Scripture!

Your horse is dead,
Your prophets are dead (not Living like you say),
Your theology is dead.
Your ‘explanations’ have not died, but have been stillborne.
Why are you a Mormon?

By the way Jesus and Satan are created and are brothers in Mormon belief.
You don't say. Well, did you know that we are brothers and sisters of Jesus too as well as Lucifer?
