Talk to Him as you would have your children talk to you.
If you'd like your sons and daughters to say the same thing to you everyday, then by all means lavish repetition on Him as well.
There’s no praying at Bingo, silly. It’s just oldsters having a bit of fun.
Where does the Word tell you to judge someone’s salvation? Are you God that you know a man’s heart?
Wow! You know what "every Christian sect teaches"? And just what would the prove? That "every Christian sect" is in error?
People believed because Our Lady said that on October 13, 1916, God would preform a miracle so that all would believe in Him. In front of 100,000 witnesses, including the local Commie authorities, the sun danced in the sky for several minutes, at the end the ground and people, both wet from recent rain, were dry, people were healed and many conversions occurred. This event was reported in local and national papers and there were photographs taken.
The phrase "full of grace" in reference to Mary is NOT found in scripture. It is only found for Stephen and Jesus. And please don't try that tortured injection of "full of grace" into Luke 1:28. It's not there and has been proven in these threads multiple times.
Mostly pagan in origin.
Yeah
Read carefully.
You said "all."
I said I'm not "certain."
He DOES, however, caution against worship of false prophets and religions, of which catholicism is.
Still makes no sense.
Hundreds of millions were praying the rosary for centuries ... way before 1916 and without the ‘encouragement’ of those two.
Your post was rather ambiguous.
Actually Jesus quoted from 27 books of the OT
He didn't have to Jesus was/is God.
The old testament was the word of God spoken through the Prophets.
The word of God, Hmn! Jesus was quoting Himself when walking this earth.
Last I heard, heretical refers to those things which are a rejection of an essential truth of the faith. Nobody in the RCC claims the Rosary is essential... it is an extra (sacramental) that may or may not be done. Nobody thinks their personal salvation depends on it. Since it is not claimed to be essential, it cannot be heretical.
Any argument of whether or not it is in the Bible is irrelevant. It is a method of prayer, nothing more.
Nor is it idolatrous, since we are not depending on Mary to save us. It asks Mary to “pray for us”, which you should ask of everyone you know. Do you tell everyone you know “Don’t pray for me.. I will take care of it myself!”?
Much ado about nothing...
Yeah, I didn’t figure you’d have an answer.
How many protestants use birth control and find no admonition against it in the Bible?
No wonder then, where they cannot see that the purpose of intimacy is purely for family, so they cannot see that the reason Jesus has a mother is for sake of demonstrating how it is so proper to reach him through her.
Why are Catholics leading the way in the battle against birth control and abortion? Because they have the insight to recognize that that intercourse and fertilization was created to lead to a new soul, which is sacred.
In similar fashion, so God created Mary to lead us ever so gently, as a mother, to Jesus. That is why He wants her to receive honor. Honoring Mary brings us safely to her Son.
Her humility in reversing the first Eve’s treacherous “No!” into a redeeming “Yes!” is what enabled Jesus who is the way the truth and the life to enter the world.
Is it not possible that if Mary had refused Christ, that no other woman on earth throughout history would have agreed to the mission and we would have been all lost?
So let Mary be ever praised and loved, even as you praise your biological mother if your relationship with her is healthy and strong!
How do you know? You assume he’s as indifferent to his Mother as you are?
Hail Mary; Mother of GOD is not found there.
