You might want to actually study pre- revolution American history to get a more rounded view of the pilgrims and puritans peoples...

I’ve spent 20 years going such...

Sure the Salem witch trails were a stain upon them, but historically there was well documented cases of witchcraft in Mass at the time...

The Roman church had NOTHING to do with the founding of our country and in fact was hostile to the founding principles of our nation until the 20th century.
