We have been caring for my father at home since December. Last week we began hospice care and after a very bad turn on Tuesday, he's likely only days from death. I'd be grateful for prayers for his soul and for comfort for my mother, his wife of 56 years, who is in so much pain. Thank you.
Praying.. Lost my mother in January. My parents were married 61 years and he is lost without her.

Prayers up for all of you. If you are with your father, you might read aloud from the Bible, for all of you. My brother the minister suggested that I do that as I sat next to my dying father nearly 15 years ago. The suggestion was to read from Romans, starting around Chapter 10.

Added prayers for you as well. I went through this with my parents in 2007 and 2008. It is a part of our lives that is very stressful and full of concern.

An Our Father is on the way. My Dad is recovering from an attempted “whipple” procedure, but his pancreatic cancer has metastasized. He has 6-20 months life left. My mom, wife of 53 years is beside herself.
