In the MORMON worldview, Jews are called GENTILES.

Many of the ones called Jews are not Jews by blood line but by conversion.
Gentile can mean some one of a different tribe.
That's because they DON'T.
...but I have never heard of them referring to a Jew as being a gentile except in cases where actual blood line is in question.
That's because they do not refer to Jews directly.
Everyone who is not MORMON is refered to as a GENTILE.
