You are reading vastly more into the words I have written instead of just reading them and taking them at face value. I get the idea that you’d rather find something to argue about instead of just taking my words at face value. I’m not interested in arguing about differences between RC, LCMS, Baptists, etc etc.

So if someone else is becoming uncivil that is the perfect justification for you behaving badly was well? Of course it isn’t.
The problem is that you seem to have no reference for what "behaving badly" is, and for proper conduct all together, and proving some examples.
The Bible does affirm answering a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. (Proverbs 26:5) For me that includes when a RC continually goes on tirade against Luther for his statements against Jews, and uses that as an argument against the Reformation, i may counter with the abundant evidence of popes against the Jews, and criticize the unreasonable bigoted cultic devotion of such RCs.
If i do not, the other party thinks they have won, and others reading the post can think that the other side has no answer. And it is for their sake mainly that i have often endured immature ad hominems and such.
