I suspect we are VERY frustrated at the world around us; and we feel helpless to do much about it.
I have pet goats. Had 4, but one died. We got them as babies and had to hand feed them from a bottle for a bit.
It was interesting watching them vie for power between themselves; having no older goats to learn from.
We had twin girls, and twin boys (from separate mothers). Jack got to be the Alpha male and Ellie Mae was the dominate female. Poor little Gracie was on the bottom of the totem pole.
When head butting time occurs (several times a day) Gracie is at the receiving end of it all.
So what does SHE do?
Takes it out on the closest barn cat!
She so proud of herself when she runs one off!
So; who does Elsie get to butt heads with?
