My dear husband fell, fracturing his femur and tearing a rotator cuff in his shoulder. He does not have osteoporosis; it was just a freaky accident.
He is a big man -- not fat, just big -- and he landed on his hip and his elbow on a neighbor's blacktop driveway. As is so typical of him, he was there to help the neighbor with a task.
He is in very good health -- but not too graceful -- so I am confident that he will heal, but, right now he is in a great deal of pain in the leg and from swelling in the arm. He was able to use the arm right after the fall, but now he cannot.
Also, he is feeling quite glum about the fact that he will not be in full working order for several weeks. We are retired, so, fortunately, he is not missing paid work, but he is always very busy around the house and in our rather large yard. It is bothering him for me to need to take up the slack. Besides, sitting for too long gives him the heebie-jeebies.
I ask for FR Prayer Warriors to pray for relief from his pain and for his spirits to be lifted.
Minor set-backs, but now my dear husband will be coming home from the rehab facility tomorrow morning, 28 March.
Praise to our glorious Lord for His mercies!
Thank you, FR Prayer Warriors. Your prayers and words of comfort have meant so much to me.
WONDERFUL NEWS!
THANK YOU LORD!
Prayers continue.

Tell him we are all pulling for his complete recovery.
Prayers Up, Peace Out!
:)
Great news! I have been keeping him in my prayers for healing and also that God would lift his spirits. Hope his rotator cuff is healing well too.
Thanks very much.
It is looking more and more, though, like contusions rather than any tears in his rotator cuff. Thank God!
The arm still gives him pain, and he need physical therapy for it, as well as the leg.
Thanks. God bless you.
I will. Thank you.
That is very good news. Keeping him in my prayers. God bless!
Just said another prayer for him and will again later tonight. So glad he’s improving. Jesus is on you guys right now.
Additional prayers lifted for his continued and full recovery.
Hallelujah! Great news! Take it easy, though... it’ll take time. Blessings to you both.
Happy FReepers, Praise God! 🙌🙏😁😄🙋😋😉
