It is with unspeakable sadness and broken hearts that we share the news of Susan's death. Susan passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the evening of Wednesday, February 25th. She collapsed and never regained consciousness. She was pregnant with baby girls, Lucy and Reyna, who were delivered by C-section. Susan grew and loved these two beautiful baby girls who only lived for a short time, but long enough to be held by their loving father Tim and the family. We have never felt a loss as devastating as this.
Susan was an inspiration in every way possible. An inspiration to live. An inspiration to love. An inspiration to share. An inspiration to dream. An inspiration to give. She was the most beautiful person imaginable, and possessed an inescapably infectious energy, spirit, and positive outlook. There was no bright, optimistic, loving force as great as she. Looking for moments between herself and individuals in her life, she made work that connected people and offered glimpses into the possibility of understanding one another better. With this at the heart of her work and at the core of how she lived, she was an advocate and a daily reminder of the great power of connectedness and the power of love.
Like her mother who passed away a year ago, Susan lived with love, grace, and a sense of humor. We are forever grateful to her for inspiring this in us. We look to her words and her art now for strength in helping each of us find strength. Years ago Susan wrote: "I think we need more love in our world right now." In honor of Susan, and in loving support of her husband Tim and their families, let today be the first day in a greater conscious effort to love bigger, better, and more deeply.
Father, receive Your servant and her innocent babes,
In Jesus' holy name.
Will do!
Prayers up.
Almighty Father, please care for the souls of Susan and the girls, and bring comfort as only You can to Tim and the entire family. I ask this in the Holy Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.

A triple tragedy in one family—incomprehensible.
May God give the survivors the strength to go on, and in time bring healing and peace.
When these things happen, I always think of what is going on, on “the other side”. Susan is walking into Heaven with her two gorgeous little daughters. She is being greeted by all those who have gone before...grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
What a joyful reunion. How proud Susan is to introduce her two lovely girls!
The Communion of Saints is a powerful and consoling tenet of our faith.
Prayers Send, God Bless their Souls and Straighten your family at this time.
