Requesting prayers for my Father. Dad is an 87 yr old Army Vet. Dad was injured in an explosion in the Philippines in 1946 during the Huk rebellion. Came home, earned a Doctorate from Georgetown and taught Philosophy for 40 yrs at the university level.
He is having surgery for recurrent hernias and we don't know yet what it will entail.
Thank you all.
Prayers up. May God Bless.

Prayers for your Dad and your family- and a special "Thank You" to him for his military service!
God bless you!
Father God,
We lift Eagles6s father up to You and ask that his body be healed in the name of Jesus. Nothing is impossible for You! We speak to the root of these recurrent hernias and command it leave in Jesus name. By His stripes we were healed. May the blood of Jesus wash over every cell in Eagle6s father and make him whole.
Be with the physicians as they do the tests. May they be surprised at the good report.
To God be the glory!
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Prayers. My childhood buddy just lost his 91 YO dad, who served in Alaska in WWII. How I wish we had chatted more on his stories.
My dad served in 1947, a jet mechanic. I still have his “top secret” jet book.
I’m reminded of the war of 1812. A lot of the clamor was about the youth wanting their own memories of war, based on the stories of their forefathers.
Prayers for John, and all those caring for him. May the Good Lord guide them, and give John strength as he undergoes this surgery.
Please keep us posted on how your Dad is doing.
Thank you. Your friends here will be praying for the good health of American patriot, John Henry.
My prayers for your cherished, beloved, hero Dad.
God bless and keep him and his loving family.
Lord, hear our prayers.
