**Four Congressional Medals since WW1 have been awarded to Catholic Chaplains. Can you tell me they didn’t believe in Jesus Christ?**

Not exactly sure what a Congressional Medal is, but I’ll assume you mean the Medal of Honor. So what does that mean? I’m sure that at least one or two atheists received the same.

Those were Medals of Honor given for bravery because those men were given the strength to carry on by their belief in Jesus Christ and the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said no greater love has a man who lays down his life for his friend.
Now tell me I don’t believe in Jesus Christ. This is what this Catholic believes:

The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
