Well then you must have never been on the pre- post- anti- millenial threads. You need to get out more - cause I am quoting from protestants themselves.

If you're implying that poor exegesis is on display there - I'll agree. Not all but a lot of it.

I'd like to see where someone in those threads stated that Christians can believe "whatever they want" as a general principle? You might be mistaking a statement about a specific situation and making into a broader principle that isn't held. On issues of eschatology, Christians are often gracious to those of opposing views (sadly, not always) because the issues are not clear-cut in Scripture. Paul made it very clear in Romans 14 that Christians are to be gracious to one another in those debatable issues.

2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Catholics don't abide in the teaching of Christ. They add to it.

Catholics venerate Mary because she said yes. She could have said no!

Oh?

Where?

She said NOThing except; "Let it be as you have said."

The angel told her what was going down; period.

So would I. I'm anticipating no answer. I'm thinking it's only a twisting or words and any attempt at documentation would prove that.

There can only be ONE TRUTH So one of us is living the UNTRUTH.

Jesus said, I am the way, the life, the truth, no one comes to the Father but through Me. JN 14:6

He is the truth. Not the RCC, not the Baptist Church, not the Methodist Church, etc.

It is only in Jesus and through Jesus we are saved.

As Peter noted, "Repent and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38

I have done thus so.

We have some jihadi pseudo protestants that think insulting other faiths is their Christian duty.

It ain't stickin' to the wall.

Throw harder.

There is NO salvation outside the church.

It goes way beyond on logic on these threads. Its just vitriol.

Like THIS???

The Roman Catholic Church  has turned the beautiful, blessed lady of Scripture into an asexual, frigid Jewish wife; who withheld her favors from Joseph for no rational reason.

Protestants that rant and rave about how awful Catholicism is are on a guilt trip and trying to justify not being Catholic.

Catholics that rant and rave about how awful Protestantism is are on a power trip and trying to justify not being able to think rationally.

Show me an article I have posted that was specifically putting down protestants?

You don't need no steekin' articles when you have the CHURCH!!

There is NO salvation outside the church uh... Mary.

Bernadine: …all gifts, all virtues, and all graces are dispensed by the hands of Mary to whomsoever, when, and as she pleases. O Lady, since thou art the dispenser of all graces, and since the grace of salvation can ONLY come through thy hands, OUR SALVATION DEPENDS ON THEE.

Bonaventure: …the gates of heaven will open to all who confide in the protection of Mary. Blessed are they who know thee, O Mother of God, for the knowledge of THEE is the high road to everlasting life, and the publication of thy virtues is the way of ETERNAL SALVATION . Give ear, O ye nations; and all you who desire heaven , serve, honor Mary, and certainly you will find ETERNAL LIFE.

Ephem: …devotion to the divine Mother…is the unlocking of the heavenly Jerusalem.

Blosius: To the, O Lady, are committed the KEYS and the treasures of the kingdom of Heaven.

Ambrose: …constantly pray ‘Open to us, O Mary, the gates of paradise, since thou hast its KEYS.

Fulgetius: …by Mary God descended from Heaven into the world, that by HER man might ascend from earth to Heaven.

Athanasius: …And, thou, O Lady, wast filled with grace, that thou mightiest be the way of our SALVATION and the means of ascent to the heavenly Kingdom.

Richard of Laurence: Mary, in fine, is the mistress of heaven; for there she commands as she wills, and ADMITS whom she wills.

Guerric: …he who serves Mary and for whom she intercedes, is as CERTAIN of heaven as if he were already there…and those who DO NOT serve Mary will NOT BE SAVED.

Anselm: It suffices, O Lady, that thou willest it, and our SALVATION is certain.

Antoninus: …souls protected by Mary, and on which she casts her eyes, are NECESSARILY JUSTIFIED AND SAVED.

Unless you’ve been out front how do you even have standing to open your mouth in criticism??

Been there; done that.

Do I get a medal?

I have found that these challenges to our Catholic faith actually strengthen my faith. They lead me to read Scripture, The Catechism of the Catholic Church, and apologetics to come to a deeper understanding of our faith. The question about Christ being continually present in the Eucharist is a good example. It led me to the following from the Catechism:

“1353 In the epiclesis, the Church asks the Father to send his Holy Spirit (or the power of his blessing) on the bread and wine, so that by his power they may become the body and blood of Jesus Christ and so that those who take part in the Eucharist may be one body and one spirit (some liturgical traditions put the epiclesis after the anamnesis).

“In the institution narrative, the power of the words and the action of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, make sacramentally present under the species of bread and wine Christ’s body and blood, his sacrifice offered on the cross once for all.”

How this happens is beyond all human understanding. For some, nothing in Scripture will lead them to believe. For others, it is Gospel truth.

You need to get out more - cause I am quoting from protestants themselves.

Why would you do that?

Don't you claimn they are in error?

Quote from Catholic leaders instead...

Pope Stephen VI (896–897), who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, tried, de-fingered, briefly reburied, and thrown in the Tiber.[1]

Pope John XII (955–964), who gave land to a mistress, murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife.

Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048), who "sold" the Papacy

Pope Boniface VIII (1294–1303), who is lampooned in Dante's Divine Comedy

Pope Urban VI (1378–1389), who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured.[2]

Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503), a Borgia, who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin.[3]

Pope Leo X (1513–1521), a spendthrift member of the Medici family who once spent 1/7 of his predecessors' reserves on a single ceremony[4]

Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), also a Medici, whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.
