If you're implying that poor exegesis is on display there - I'll agree. Not all but a lot of it.

I'd like to see where someone in those threads stated that Christians can believe "whatever they want" as a general principle? You might be mistaking a statement about a specific situation and making into a broader principle that isn't held. On issues of eschatology, Christians are often gracious to those of opposing views (sadly, not always) because the issues are not clear-cut in Scripture. Paul made it very clear in Romans 14 that Christians are to be gracious to one another in those debatable issues.

So would I. I'm anticipating no answer. I'm thinking it's only a twisting or words and any attempt at documentation would prove that.
