Getting the title fixed. We all make mistakes now and then.

That's an interesting question. I think it's a matter of commitment. If a person is truly interested in their Faith, they'll make a point of learning and following it. We are an organized religion: yet, many don't treat it as such. I know people who can tell you the most minute rules of golf, but don't know the Ten Commandments or even that there are precepts of the Church that we are bound to follow. They wouldn't dare breach their country club rules, but will cohabitate; go to Communion without Confession; look down their nose at those who have less than they do, without a thought of offering help.

Maybe their blindness will mitigate things in the Eyes of God. I just think that when we face Him, the more we know, the more responsible we'll be for our actions. Maybe when Jesus said, "but all things are possible with God" when saying how hard it is for the rich to get to Heaven. When you're poor, you realize just how dependent you are on God... but I think He's going to expect more.

God bless you!

You have to have a legal mind to successfully navigate all the man made laws in the Catholic Church.
