So a doctor can’t ID himself as Dr? Colonel So-and-so must go by “Sam”?

Titles are earned. They deserve respect. But this is Facebook, and if you do FB, then you get what you get.

Consider "reverend" Sharpton. Title not earned but given to him at age 10.
