If I recall, no where in the vision did the apiration tell anyone to place their faith in Christ. Instead it was "Mary" telling people to say Hail Mary's and other stuff.
Would Satan appear as Mary to deceive people? You betcha he would.
I find it ironic that the very people who so readily dismiss Benny Hinn and other like him so readily accept Fatima and other "visions" like it.
For the record....I don't believe Benny Hinn is legit nor are the vast majority of the "televangelists". Too many have been proven to be fakes.
But to the question....is/can God still in the miracle business? Yes He is. I can testify to two that I've seen myself.
If you count my passing algebra in high school then three! :)
When Benny Hinn had his church in Orlando a friend of mine and I attended many times as he was a very good teacher of the customs and history of the middle east and Bible history. We stayed for a little while when he began his “healing ministry” and I can assure you it was all fake. It didn’t us long to get out of there.
"Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy Mercy".
The incidents at Fatima took place over an extended period.
From what I've read, and my understanding is that of a fairly low info, non-Catholic, the Catholic hierarchy sat on it for a long time, but finally declared Fatima to be the real deal.
