Well, at least 300 times they did!

The NT writers used the Septuagint 300 times for the quotes of the OT they put into the NT. There are 350 OT quotes in the NT. Thus, 6 out of 7 OT verses in the NT are from the Septuagint. http://www.kalvesmaki.com/LXX/NTChart.htm

No, the apostles would not.

The apostles used what Yeshua used: The ancient Hebrew texts.

Those that later translated the apostles to Greek copped out in some cases and copied the LXX.
