Your logic is lacking.
The Blessed Mother is either both the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of God or not. You can’t have it both ways. Jesus was and is both God and man. Isn’t it amazing that He did this for us so that we may join Him in Heaven. Isn’t it amazing that He (God) humbled himself to experience first hand as a new born. a child and as an adult life as a human being.
Why do you feel the need to reject God’s Word and the Mother of Jesus? Why do you argue and dismiss the honor and love that we all feel for the Mother of God?
How is sticking to Scripture rejecting it?
This is what Scripture says about Mary.
Where is the term *mother of GOD* ever found in it?
The Holy Spirit is clear in Scripture in calling Mary *the mother of Jesus*.
John 2:1 On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
John 2:3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine.
Acts 1:14 All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
You can't. either Mary is mother of Jesus, God with us, or she is the mother of GOD, making her deity and making God less than God but giving Him a beginning.
Calling Mary *mother of God* dismisses His humanity and diminishes the Incarnation.
Why do you argue and dismiss the honor and love that we all feel for the Mother of God?
I don't care what you FEEL about Mary. That's your business.
However, when it comes to teaching false things about her and thereby Jesus and God, that's another matter.
Jesus is God...If what you say is true, God is half man...However, the bible says:
1Ti_3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
God was not born in the flesh...God was manifest in Jesus who was born in the flesh...
I'll go with the NOT part.
Yup; and Mary did NOT give 'birth' to the GOD part, but the MAN part.
