That has to be one of the most insolent, ignorant posts I've ever received. Your statement in your post "You're trying to teach us about God and you don't even know what God says", is a falsehood. You don't know what I know, and you should not pretend you do.

I urge you to read what Jesus says here about the truth and about lies.

In my post to another poster which you were replying to here, I was making the simple point that the Bible does not tell us that the apostles were not at the crucifixion (like that poster had claimed in his post), when Jesus received that wine on His cross. If you believe I am wrong about that, then I'll be happy to make you a friendly public wager right here and now.

If by the end of the day tomorrow (1/28/15), you can show me a Bible text that says that the apostles were not at the crucifixion, I will immediately donate an additional $100 to Free Republic, and if you can't, you will immediately donate an additional $100 to Free Republic. Do we have a wager? (Or are you going to weasel out of your snarky, rude, insulting, false statement in your post?)

They all left except Peter...On the way to the trial, Peter stayed a ways back to avoid being numbered with Jesus...Peter was fearing for his life and told 3 lies in the process...

John was the only apostle to show up at the crucifixion...Jesus' mother and a bunch of other women were there and off in the distance were some of Jesus' followers...Their names are not given...That's all scripture...

Perhaps you can show some scripture that shows the apostles were at the Crucifixion, besides John...

Why do now twist the words? Were you hoping by not pinging me I wouldn't see it? I said "they were not on the cross with Jesus" and were not drinking that "cup" of wine. Here is your statement from post 903.
