Florida Boy's Circumcision Spurs Lengthy Legal Battle, Protests BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — An estranged Florida couple's fight over whether to circumcise their son has become a rallying cry for those who denounce the procedure as barbaric. The dispute between Heather Hironimus, the mother opposing circumcision, and Dennis Nebus, the father favoring it, has sparked a prolonged court battle, protests and the rapt attention of a movement of self-proclaimed "intactivists."

“People condemn the muzzies for cutting women, yet cutting males is ok? “

They are done differently.

So if they were both done lovingly and with the best of intentions that makes it better?

God made our bodies perfect. To believe otherwise is heresy, as God is perfect.

The only point to contend with is rather as a Christian is something required of us or the parents to secure our place in heaven? That answer is no.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV).

The moment Jesus died, our place was purchased through the ultimate sacrifice required under the law.

My point is circumcision is not required by my studies of the New Testament. Therefore why would we purposely destroy God’s creation?
Just because it’s what was done, and what our parents did doesn’t make it the best choice, or even required. So if it’s not required why do it?
Billions of people have amazingly had no issue, so if cleanliness is the only reason...

The Female version is designed to permanently harm the child. The male version is designed to help the child.

Under your logic, clipping your fingernails or getting a haircut is “destroying God’s creation”.

Especially since there are no religious reasons or as far as we know health reasons for the procedure in this instance.

A friend’s father absolutely insisted that all his grandsons be circumcised.

He remembered WW1 where men were not able to do proper hygiene and gangrene was setting in.

That’s something to think about.

I had an uncle who had it done as a teen because of repeated infections, here in the US, and he suffered for it.

Choosing to do it past infancy is no picnic for men.
