If we don’t pray for more vocations we soon won’t have priests.
Start a Serra Club in your area!

His mission hdqrs, Mission San Carlos Borroméo del río Carmelo, (Carmel Mission), was just down hill from I used to live on Camino Real...in Carmel-By-THe-Sea.
'Favorite things about the residential area of Carmel - no sidewalks and no no house numbers. No one could find you unless you gave them directions, like: "5th house down on the right, gray stucco"

The leftists in California hate Junipero Serra. They disparage him for bringing Christianity to the Indians of California and slur him as an abuser of those very people he work so hard for.
I am baffled by the actions of this Pope who sends out so many mixed messages by being traditional on one hand and by being progressive on the other.

Yes, and songs too:
- Que serra, serra
- Serrabande
- Serranade in Bleu
- Sunrise Serranade
- Serranade from "The Student Prince"
- Schubert's Serranade
Pardon the imprecise spelling. It's phonetically correct anyway. (Some Californians who should know better pronounce Father Serra's name as "Sierra" and must think the mountain range was named for him.)

Probably that someone that high up doesn’t really make these kinds of decisions, rather, a committee of some kind brought this about. That’s one thing I learned being around flag officers and even higher officials. Delegate, delegate, delegate.

Have Marx (the husband of Jenny von Westphalen, not the comedian) and Engels received their sainthoods yet ?
