To the world and the word's system, they called it Monday. Named after the Moon.The name of Monday is derived from Old English Mōnandæg and Middle English Monenday, which means "moon day". (From Wikipedia) According to the traditional Christian, Islamic and Hebrew calendars, it is the second day of the week, (from Wikipedia) This past worldly Moon 's day was the 6th day of our Creator's calendar. Until the new moon. Then the Moon's day will not be His 6th day of His week anymore until the cycle comes around in some months. Again, His calendar works with sun, moon and stars and not just the sun. The world's names for the days or the order of the days are not in scripture but we aren't taught the scriptural calendar. Governments, businesses and religions ofthe world would be hard pressed to observe the biblical calendar. They are plainly first day, second day, third day, etc... of the week or ordinal numbers for the numbered day in a moon (month and moon are the same word in Hebrew- chodesh) on His. I accept the world calls it Monday but I don't have to live my life by the world's calendar anymore, praise Yah! I don't accept the premise that the world, just because it's week has seven dayson its calendar , follows a biblical week or month. The seven day 'battle' of Jericho disproves the world's calendar on its own but most don't think about it.. It is something that took Israel 40 years to learn... He wasn't just feeding them in the wilderness.. He was teaching them His timekeeping/calendar.. And it is located throughout scripture.. And why a worldly Woden's day in a month of April ( or January like it is again) can be considered the first day of the week after a 'Moon's day' passover and 'Tiw's Day ' weekly Sabbath.. It requires rejection of the world and a deep study of scripture... And you too may be able to see the Savior's birth date in Revelation 12 like He has shown me. The woman arrayed with the sun with the moon under her feet is a specific date on the calendar. his birthdate. And it is not December 25. An actual astronomical event in His sky that happens ever year.. And it happened 'earlier' in the 'year' 2000 years ago than it does today.. His calendar has allowed me to see just how much of the traditions of Christendom are just not based on scripture..,
