Gladiator Fights Stopped in Rome 1611 Years Ago Today Because of This Saint

Gladiator games obviously are no longer going on in Rome. So when did they stop? We actually know the exact day: January 1st, A.D. 404. Thats 1611 years ago today.
And it was because of a saint.

Somebody ought to declare communism and socialism illegal, because, for those ideologies to get implemented completely, they need to eradicate all opposition, resulting in millions of deaths every time. In fact, those ideologies can be easily classified and more cruel than the gladiator fights, since, more people have died via those 2 ideologies than through the horrible fights in Roman times.
Similarly, Muslim terrorism should be declared illegal, but, to get anywhere with that idea, the whole Muslim religion and Koran would have to be declared illegal worldwide.
Do we have any saints that want to take on those scourges?
