Was that in today's devotional? Yesterday's? In which of these devotionals does he do that? You can't say because his devotionals don't contain what you falsely accuse him of.
Besides, that misses the point of the issue here. Regardless of personal preference, good-faith devotionals are welcomed on FR and this in one of them. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it, just move on.
It's not a matter of any one or two or three of the devotionals. It's the totality of Osteen's preaching, devotionals, books, etc.
This seems to be devotional to me, except for the fact that, given the totality that I mentioned above, I perceive it to be more a tool for Osteen to manage the appearance and perception of his ministry. Osteen comes from the same branch of Christianity as Jim and Tammy Fay Baker. Osteen just appears to have a bit more class and patience. The greed is there, though.
