I think even the most insane among the people that post on these religious threads will admit that Catholics are Christian.

I could be wrong about that though.

I believe that Catholics are Christian, but I also believe that many of them labor under legalistic burdens. Of course, that isn’t unique to Catholics as any Christian can fall prey to that.

There have been many threads on FR about how Catholics need to leave the Catholic Church and become Christians.

I was told about 25 minutes ago that Catholics are not Christians.

I had a room-mate who was an Evangelical Christian. In his eyes, if you aren’t ‘saved’, you’re destined to go to hell....this included Catholics.

I won’t admit Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, or LMNOPists are Christians. I will admit that many Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, and LMNOPists are Christians.

Church pews have tons of non-believing members in them, and thank God, because the chances of them becoming Christians is greatly improved by them being there.

What, in your opinion is “Christian?”

There are obviously many that use his name but do not “Believe” as the term meant to the Jewish men that wrote the Bible.

To believe in Yeshua is to take up a discipleship, following all of his commandments, and living as he lived.

Clearly one cannot do that and also be admitted to the “communion” of the Roman Catholic Church!

I’m sure that the ‘insane’ would be welcomed.
