There have been many threads on FR about how Catholics need to leave the Catholic Church and become Christians.
I was told about 25 minutes ago that Catholics are not Christians.
I would pray to Mary, just to be on the safe side.
That was very unChristian of them.
In all honesty, I see a conveyor belt of Catholic posts cheering themselves, and busting the chops of protestants all day long. It’s non stop. And inside those threads, someone sometimes shoves back.
But a stranger could be forgiven for believing they had stumbled into a Catholic website.
I’m a lifelong member of the Church of England who is heading towards Roman Catholicism.
I’ve considered myself a Christian for about the last quarter of a century. I’m not sure if I’ll ever find an organised denomination that matches for me - but Anglicanism did for a while, and Catholicism seems to now.
I hate seeing Christians arguing about who else is a Christian. Debating the details is another matter.

A poster on one of the Free Republic Catholic/Protestant battle threads claimed Moslems could go to Heaven but Protestants were damned.
That didn’t do much to open a dialog...
Your religion does not teach bible Christianity...It teaches its own version of religion which adopts phrases and props from the bible to appear as Christianity...
It's pretty obvious that there are Christians in Catholicism since so many leave your religion in search of the real Jesus...

That's likely because some (or all) of you claim all Catholics are Christians which is ridiculous...30 years ago, it was an insult to call a Catholic a Christian...Whenever I would ask a person if he/she was a Christian, all of the Catholics would respond with, NO, I am a Catholic...
