Matthew, Luke and John each report the story of Jesus’ Last Supper and the institution of the Eucharist.

I expect to find theological errors in an article like this ... but I didn't expect to find blatant falsehoods.

The gospel of John does not record the institution of the Eucharist. Read the Upper Room Discourse for yourself (John 13-17) and you will not find it. John is the only gospel that doesn't mention it.

If you look at the threads posted by these posters on FR, it is a common occurrence. Sometimes it has such a poor use of Scripture - as in this post - that the Little Drummer Boy story would sound just as real, if you applied the same approach. 80% of what is reported in the article is false.

The author is a theologian. Are you saying he is wrong?

I don’t think he is wrong.
