ipsissimi verbi. On a par with the Gospels. The Catholic Church makes no such claims: in fact,it is the teaching of the Catholic Church that the canon of Scriptures and the era of direct Public Revelation closed with the death of the last Apostle.
But since you don't think that the Catholic Church has the authority to say the canon is closed --- not to put words in your mouth --but would you want to assert that people still have the option of adding or removing books of Scripture?
And by whose authority?
