Drawing a parallel is one thing: comparing Catholic love, honor and trust for the Mother of Jesus to what you listed above?
I'm sorry, that remark, whether or not it is intended to be so, is an insult to Catholics and to the mother of Our (yours and my) Savior!
I pray that prayer every day. And not to any of those you mentioned above! I entrust myself to the Mother of Jesus, my Lord, as He was entrusted to her and to St. Joseph!
Remember of whom it is you are speaking: if you love Jesus, at least show respect to His mother for His sake!

I see no difference just because it's Mary's name. You've elevated Mary to something not accorded to her in the Bible.
Jesus calls us to love Him....not His mom.
Catholics could show respect for her by not making her into something she is not.
