The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not mans standard.

Absolutely beautiful country.
People think Vanderbilt owned Pisgah National Forest originally. They were wrong. I did.

“time held me green and dying / though i sang in my chains like the sea.”
We know that no one owns anything. People always say when asked if a home owner: “Well, me and the bank.”
The truth is neither. Just caretakers for a brief moment in time.
The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.

Still waiting on our daughter to push that new grandchild of mine into this realm. Will be up longer.
Catch you later.

Grandson, just now.
Thank you Lord of all! Bless you our Father!

I'd rather be seen as a grouch than being observed posting false statements and insults about other members here without letting them know their character is being impinged.
If you don't know how to ping a poster, then don't type about them.
BTW, I was trying to help you with my little "hint."

So you see communication (since you state it is not prayer) with Mary as a mediator between man and Christ?

A prayer request is not praise. I say “TC pray that...please.”
I don’t say “TC most beautiful Freeper, I dedicate my life to you pray for me.
The latter is what Catholics do with Mary. The former example is evidenced in NT epistles.

I love this feeling! This is new to me!
Thanks my friend for the greeting...and...just wow!
Nine pounds, seven ounces, 21.5 inches, 10 and 10. Head of hair, eyes not open just yet. Born naturally on the due date.
Boy is big, unlike his mother. His father was with his wife, our daughter, all day long and through the evening past midnight, and is there still. That’s so very cool in my book.
First grandchild is NOT an everyday event, no siree.
(Had no clue I would feel like this. Have been thanking and praising Almighty God...Father, Son, Holy Spirit !!!)
Wonder if I’ll sleep tonight...

The former example is evidenced in NT epistles. Let's not forget that the catholic church has admitted that ALL of their hopes are in Mary.
That they would put this in writing is amazing. That they deny it is even more amazing.

>>The errors started right after the crucifixion, and grew exponentially after the last apostle died. That is what Irenaeus and his disciple Hippolytus wrote.<<
As did others. We know that some had long gone off track already when John wrote Revelation. But you are right it was Constantine who really brought the Catholic Church into being. One could say the marriage of Christian and Pagan was consummated with his Edict of Milan.

>>Essentially that backsliding is permanent, so dont fool around.<<
I think that is a much to narrow meaning. It's the descendants of Esau who have persecuted the Israelites and helped others who did so. It's the descendants of Esau who tempted the Israelites and drew them away from God. It wasn't just one act of Esau that God was referencing. There are many instances of "backsliding" that God has brought man back from and forgiven.
