The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not mans standard.

See post 1872
I did and am considering it. I'm also fixing a computer I just received, watching Olympus Has Fallen, texting with my shapely young wife who informs that our daughter has dilated to 8cm and grandchild is expecting fairly soon. And trying to decide what I want for supper since I'm batching it. And I'm not agitated and antsy or nothing.

Never seen that speculation before, it would be pretty cool. But as with all things not manifest, we’ll have to wait and see. It will be an awesome sight.

>>Why dont they read the Bible to find out what the Source says instead of man?<<
It's called "indoctrination". They have been given a spirit of fear that says outside of the organization there is no salvation. The bought into that and now fear that if they lose that supposed safety net they have no salvation.
>>Reminds me of dem talking points. They parrot what they are told<<
It's exactly like that. Remember God said He would blind those to truth who resisted Him.

It is. And only those who are genuinely on their knees begging for guidance from the Holy Spirit while taking their eyes off man’s teaching will find the truth. I take solace in the fact that all I have to do is present the evidence and the Holy Spirit will guide after God calls them.

Ooops....my bad. Why I used beasts instead creatures I have no idea. You are right I should have said creatures as it does in scripture. Thanks for pointing that out. Someone may have gotten confused on that.

Do we have to learn the names of all 24? Cain't I just call all of them "Gramps"?

For me, this is numero uno. Married late and started our family late. Frequently was the oldest person riding The Terminator at Carowinds. (Why hasn't she texted me in the past 5 minutes?)

Nor had I. I have seen "it's the church", it's the 12 sons of Jacob with some idea thrown in for the other 12, and several others but none made sense or lined up with scripture. If we understand what "elder" in scripture refers to it makes sense that the lineage of the twelve sons of Jacob are the "elders" of all of God's people.
And, yes, we will have to wait and see. What a day that will be!!!

CB in your opinion are these elders in their glorified bodies or souls? Of course you know what I am asking.

You had me confused...I had to read it twice to make sure I was not misjnderstanding. lol
Tonight I promised Elsie to provide some info about Judgment Seat of Christ and Rewards/Fire...for discussion. Shall I ping you too?
To: nicmarlo
I can understand you confusion. I appreciate that you brought it up. And yes, ping me to the discussion of the judgement. There is way too much confusion about that. There is no “judgement” for believers. How can there be if God forgives and forgets out sins?

Judgment Seat of Christ? Rewards issued and then crowns laid at His feet?

My first inclination is to say yes they are. If you remember there was a "resurrection" at the time of Jesus resurrection and those were seen in Jerusalem by many. That is a study I haven't done extensively however. However it would be counter to scripture if they were again returned to death or "sleep".

Significent earthquake(s) at that time also. Perhaps sightings in other locales too? Worldwide resurrection of faithful children of God from Creation to the Cross?
Okay, I'll go back to whatever I was doing...
