It is important to note that the prefix "co" in the title Coredemptrix does not mean "equal to" but rather "with", coming from the Latin word cum. The Marian title Coredemptrix never places Mary on a level of equality with her Divine Son, Jesus Christ. Rather it refers to Mary's unique human participation which is completely secondary and subordinate to the redeeming role of Jesus, who alone is true God and true Man.

Most certainly does not...It means persons or an object sharing something equally...

The prefix “co-” has different meanings. Sometimes it means to share in something equally. Sometimes, as in this case, it simply means “with.”

By the way, the term “Co-Redemptrix,” as far as I know, has never been officially accepted by the RCC. That is, there’s debate in the RCC over it. So, you’re all getting upset over a term that has never officially been adopted by the RCC.
