I discern you seek to divide, by denomination, constantly. Why?

Christ prayed to the Father just prior to His death on the Cross:

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are."

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

What you persist in doing contrary to what Christ would have Christians do.

I discern you seek to divide, by denomination, constantly. Why?

I discern there are thousands of different denominations, sects, faith groups, and cults that are already divided. I discern many of them hate the Catholic Church and call it all kinds of horrid names, while hiding behind a cloak of anonymity.

Christ prayed to the Father just prior to His death on the Cross.

Perhaps you discern that I already posted that prayer on this forum many times. I believe it, which is why I attend a Catholic church. I keep asking those who reject the Catholic Church for an alternative holy catholic apostolic church that fulfills Jesus' prayer and I normally get crickets and whining that Freepers don't have to provide that information. That is true, Freepers are under no such obligation. However genuine Christians are obligated, and if they are not straightforward and honest about who they assemble with, or if they don't assemble at all, have no credibility.

What you persist in doing contrary to what Christ would have Christians do.

Try to discern the topic of this thread and see if you can join with the Catholic Church in the unity our LORD Jesus Christ prayed for. Shall we have peace ?
