It boggles my mind why catholics cling so dearly to this when it is evidenced it is based on a false hood.

What falsehood? You mean that sola scriptura straw man that's erected? Truth be told I shrug my shoulders. If protestants want to sever the Deposit of Faith that's their problem. It's not a Catholic one. My response is, "Hate it for you. But you made your bed, you now have to lie in it."

Where's the direct, categorical and stringent proof text for the Trinity? for the Nature of Christ? Cherry picking a piece of scripture which "alludes" to the Trinity is not sufficient since it fails the direct, categorical and stringent test.

P.S.: Where is the direct, categorical and stringent proof text that authorizes the protestant to engage in artificial contraception?

Typical catholic dodge when confronted with the truth. The truth from the catholic encyclopedia that bills itself as the most authoritative site on catholicism.

These are your church's teachings. Not my opinion or any other Christian's....it's from the catholic church.

You can't defend it and you know it.

>>Where's the direct, categorical and stringent proof text for the Trinity?<<

Where did CAtholics get it from? Did they make it up? Did they get it from pagans? Where did they get the concept from? Or did they get it from scripture? If they got it from scripture why can't others?

And yet proof texts are what Catholics here have claimed is the support for the Trinity.

You just shot yourself in the foot with that explanation.
