The grace of Baptism washes away sins

Nope, the Blood of Jesus does that.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.--1 John 1:7
Baptism is an outward sign by the believer that he is born again. It symbolizes being crucified with Christ.

Therefore his/her sins have already been washed away. By the Blood of Jesus, not water baptism.

“Nope, the Blood of Jesus does that.”

The blood was necessary on the cross. It isn’t used in Baptism. Grace is. The blood of Christ on the cross is what created the grace. Perhaps you’ve never read Ephesians 1:7 before.

“Baptism is an outward sign by the believer that he is born again. It symbolizes being crucified with Christ.”

Baptism is an outward sign of an inward movement of grace instituted by Christ for our sanctification. Or:

“Sacraments are outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ for our sanctification (Catechismus concil. Trident., n. 4, ex St. Augustine, “De Catechizandis rudibus”).” http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/13295a.htm

“Therefore his/her sins have already been washed away.”

False. Remember, Paul believed in Christ from when He heard His voice on the road to Damascus. Yet it was only in Damascus, after instruction from Ananias, and his healing, that Paul was told, “Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.” (Acts 22:16)

“By the Blood of Jesus, not water baptism.”

One in the same through grace as shown in Romans 6:1-4 and you have to have water: Acts 8:38.
