I know. I’ve had Catholic friends do the same.
I myself have a number of gay friends, btw, because of the field in which I work, and I simply decline the invitation and don’t go to these things, and they respect it. It’s not necessary to make a scene, especially if the person in question is not your child, but it’s certainly not necessary to look as if you approve (ESPECIALLY if it’s your child).
I wonder how much longer that will be the case.
