Also, only rich people would be able to afford them. And who would be the only ones to look at them? Rich people. I guess poor people don't need beautiful things to look at.

An absolutely ludicrous idea is to break up the Vatican art collection - the greatest collection on earth. You want it all sold to private collectors like Bill Gates and Andrew Lloyd Webber? If we are lucky, once in a while, they’ll allow some museum to display the Giottos for three weeks. Great idea.
