Mister, my reading skills are probably better than most people on here. Try to be clearer that you were not being critical of my minister. I have loved to read since I was in first grade way back in 1950-51. My high school teachers asked me to read to the class when needed. I even enjoyed Old English. I have over 200 books on my iPad and have read every one of them and have read most multiple times. One of my favorite authors is William W. Johnstone. If you have not read his Out of the Ashes series, do so. He also wrote The Last Mountain Man series about Smoke Jensen, The First Mountain Man about Preacher, and many more. I discovered his books decades ago.
BROAD brushes are easier to defend.
A Study in Scarlet?

Clearer than, Your minister may be a great scholar, for all I know ? Thats what I wrote, you know. How much clearer than that does one need to be?

In the early 1970s, before my memory failed, I counted up the *absolute minimum* number of books I had read. As of that date, it was in excess of 3,000. Books. I didnt include magazines or newspapers. And I never stopped reading. I consider myself to be moderately well read.
