Christ said it best when He was on the donkey entering Jerusalem. The Priest and officials of the Temple told him to tell his followers not to praise him "If they kept quiet, even the stones would burst into cheers."
GOD's Word was written for mans sake and GOD certainly has the power to teach it to any believer whether it is in text or by works of The Holy Spirit. If every written Bible were burned today GOD's Word will survive and still be taught to man.
There is no perfect church overseen by man. All have their faults. There is no official Church but the blood bought believers and followers of Jesus Christ whom He calls to be His own. We do not have that authority to declare who is and is not included whom Christ calls in that respect. None of us do.
We have many different churches where GOD's Word is preached but Jesus Christ is the sole head of it. Put a dozen Math teachers in a room to do Algebra and you'd likely get a dozen different methods but the same answer and results. Put thousands of Christ centered churches into action and the same thing you will get the same end result despite differing methods of how they got there. They may disagree on theory/theology but serve the same GOD and belong to the same Jesus Christ.
Jealousy has been used several times in The Bible by GOD to produce desired results :>}
It does all sum up in the obedience to the Lord. Theorizing overly about it will glorify our minds rather than God. C. S. Lewis seemed to be aware of this danger and knew what he modestly called “Mere Christianity.
