Nobody with money or power is “at odds” with mormonism.

I am not a mormon, and never have been one, yet my late and former Father in law who was a very powerful mormon was easily able to get me a temple recommend, based I think on the amount of money he gave to the church, to attend a family wedding.

Money and power are mormonism.

Thanks for the info because my question was how he got a temple recommend in the first place. I’m familiar with the vetting process and personally know Mormons who have been denied for far less egregious behaviour.

That certainly answers THAT question!

You forgot sex. The LDS church may officially prohibit polygamy but there are still a lot of members that practice it below the radar.
