We obviously will not make the Religion Forum a single belief forum. For instance, posters who are anti-CatholicISM must endure the fact that the Catholic Caucus posts daily. They must not engage on those threads at all.
If you cannot or will not ignore the Osteen devotionals, then you should ignore the Religion Forum altogether. To do this, do NOT use the "everything" option on the Free Republic browse option list. Instead, browse by "News/Activism." When you log back in, the browse will reset to "everything" - so be sure to set it back to "News/Activism."
I have always been curious to know what the rules are if someone would post the same content as in the Osteen devotionals but not call it a devotional. Then, others, or the OP could show the error in it. Is this a valid way of refuting the Osteen false doctrine and not violate the devotional thread rules?
As much as I clearly detest Osteen I must say I agree with the RM’s stance on this.
There are plenty of FReepers who think Reformed Theology is heretical. Would we Reformed folks be shut down next?
Religious freedom is an all or nothing proposition.
