If no sarcasm was intended why did you say what you said.
When Jesus sent out the disciples to spread the message, He told them that “The things that I do and more your too shall do in my name.”
As stated in Luke 17: 20 Once Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, and he answered, The kingdom of God is not coming with things that can be observed; 21 nor will they say, Look, here it is! or There it is! For, in fact, the kingdom of God is within you.
When you go within you find that you exist within Jesus. That’s what communion is all about. Jesus and you become one. When you realize this and experience it, things begin to happen and you are raised up while you are still here. That’s what the rapture is all about. That’s also what Jesus is talking about in John 17 and Matthew 24. Just as the lightning in the East is seen in the West, so will be the messiah... That’s because He is already here but people don’t know where to look to find Him. Look within and you will be raised up and find Him too.
The ability to walk on water is a natural attribute of being raised up. And, just as St Teresa of Avila experienced, it’s difficult to stay on the ground when you are totally filled with the Holy Spirit. This is not about showing off to others, it’s about making the journey within.
You posted a comment #34 in an open forum to which I responded with a comment in post #43.
You then posted in #123 a question to me, so I answered your question in post #128.
Why the heck would you send me this message?
" RetiredArmy | 10/19/2014 5:01:54 PM PDT new Your quoting Catholic saints to me. Is that meaning that you are a Catholic? If so, I am sorry, but I do not follow your religion. So, quit writing to me. I aint buying your apostate pope who says we all pray to the same God and that the atheists will be in heaven with me. Wrong. Aint happening. Were done here. Good bye."
I have never written you at all(At least not in the past five years). I have only posted in the forum in response to your posts and questions. You have written to me!!!
If I have offended, please accept my apologies. In learning scripture I always pray and meditate on meaning in addition to reviewing other translations, word meanings and context. I pray that I shall never be like the legalistic Pharisees who constantly challenged Jesus' teachings as His interpretation was not consistent with their narrow legalistic view. If you find fault with my comment, please pray for me that I may be enlightened by finding the true meaning of His message. I always welcome such prayers.
