Were there any MITTbots of their day, complaining that if ONLY they'd voted for the OTHER guy; we'd not have the Obama-pope that got elected!
I suppose I could launch into a diatribe about the logical fallacies inherent in this statement. But that's boring. The only way this is a good argument for anything is if one is predisposed to accept a utilitarian frame of reference regarding matters of truth. Ends justifying the means and all that. Success as a measure of truth. Give me an ignorant, sinful Catholic over some slicked-up protestant with an effective PR machine.
