The Catholic Church realizes that the Muslims also try in a very wrong way to worship God as they erroneously understand God, and the Catholics Church wants to reach out to them where they are, and teach them the right and true way to worship the True God.

In this, they are merely mimicking the Apostle Paul, who said this to the "men of Athens":

What the Muslims do is a far cry from what Paul was saying. Muslims don't even profess to worship an “unknown god”. In the Quran they have clearly described the attributes of the god they serve. That god is clearly not the one true God. I will repeat. The failure of the Catholic Church to discern the difference is clear indication they do not function with the guidence of the Holy Spirit.
