So mortal sin versus non-mortal as specified in the Bible does not signify "gradation of sin" to you?

(Can you distinguish between life and death?)

And, Elsie, in earthly matters, do you also think it is impossible to distinguish between "transgression of the law - homicide" and "transgression of the law - running a stop sign" just because they are not spelled out for you in the Bible?

(Most of us can distinguish between them, and so can God, and God had given us His Church to give us guidance in helping us to distinguish between mortal and non-mortal sins, and (as is also spelled out in the Bible), to provide His Sacrament of Confession and Reconciliation for the explicit forgiveness of ALL types of sins, mortal or non-mortal.)
